Why we are building HelpCrew
Micro-teams need a reliable shared inbox, not enterprise workflow theatre, per-agent penalties, or another chatbot between them and support.
A shared inbox is simple until it is not
For a very small team, ordinary email feels like enough. Then two people answer the same customer, a refund request sits in a personal folder, or everyone assumes somebody else owns a difficult question. The problem is not a lack of effort. It is the absence of shared context and clear ownership.
Most help desks grow in the wrong direction
Popular support platforms have accumulated automation layers, administration screens, AI add-ons, and per-agent pricing. Those features may suit large operations. For a team of five, they can make setup harder and collaboration needlessly expensive.
The irony is sharper when the software company's own support is difficult to reach. Customers are steered through chatbots and generic articles while a direct human answer remains hidden behind another click.
HelpCrew is deliberately small-team software
HelpCrew will turn an existing support address into a shared queue with assignment, status, customer history, saved replies, and clear response-time reporting. It is meant to be understood in minutes and useful on the first day.
The product will not ask a bot to represent your team, and we will not ask a bot to represent ours. Every plan includes human support by email. Send a real question; receive a real answer.
A price that includes the crew
HelpCrew will cost $49 per month for up to ten people, or $490 per year. There is no per-agent penalty. Launch-list members receive an email in Q4 2026 and get the first month free, with no obligation to continue.
